~*~*~*~*Artist Update*~*~*~*~

As many of you have probably noticed I haven't been on here as much recently as I used to be. Nor have I been turning out the amount of artwork that I used to or would like to.

The reasons for this: I am currently 8 months pregnant, my house was under construction for a few months so I didn't have use of my art room, and my job has been keeping me a lot more busy than it used to.

Never fear, I am still painting and drawing and taking photos. I just can't not do those things. They are apart of who I am.

Within the last week I was featured in our local newspaper as the Artist of the week type thing. I was also in the fair last week and received two 3rd places (one for "surrounded by fertility" and one for the photo "not-so-ninja-turtle").

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm still here and really appreciate everyone's support and will continue to produce artwork (even if its not on a regular basis).
